Product Description

The S1 Single Coil Seal is a robust and cost-effective bidirectional, clutch-type, unbalanced mechanical seal designed for
reliable sealing performance in pumps, mixers, agitators, and other rotating equipment. Its single-coil spring construction
ensures uniform face loading while minimizing clogging and product build-up, making it suitable for handling clean fluids as
well as light slurry applications. The clutch drive mechanism provides positive torque transmission, reducing wear on seal
components and enhancing operational reliability. Designed to operate efficiently in both clockwise and counterclockwise
shaft rotations, the S1 seal offers versatility across a wide range of industrial processes. Available in shaft sizes from 20 mm
to 100 mm, it can withstand pressures up to 12 kg/cm² and temperatures ranging from –20°C to 200°C. The seal is offered
with face material combinations such as Carbon, Silicon Carbide (SiC), and Tungsten Carbide (TC), along with secondary
sealing materials including FKM, EPDM, PTFE, and NBR to suit various media and operating conditions. Metal components
are available in SS304, SS316, SS316L, Alloy 20, and Hastelloy C, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long service
life. Widely used in slurry pumps, refineries, petrochemical plants, and general chemical industries, the S1 Single Coil Seal
delivers dependable leakage control, reduced maintenance requirements, and improved equipment efficiency, making it an
ideal sealing solution for demanding industrial applications.
